- Create & modify computer applications. Develop new applications.
- Write programs that meets system standards using Java/J2EE, Web Services, HTML, Java Script, SQL Server, CSS, XML, Crystal Reports, VSS, IIS, Team Foundation server, UML and OOAD.
- Write and maintain internal and external end-user instructions.
- Travel/relocate to various unanticipated locations.
Skills & Job Duties
- Experience with unit testing in application development
- Experience with MVC, WebAPI and Message Queues
- Bachelor Degree or higher: Computer Science, ME, EE, PE, Math, or Physics
- Knowledge in Design Patterns and SOLID Principle
- Experience in agile/scrum teams using TFS
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills Desired Qualifications:
- Oil and Gas experience including drilling or geological related applications development
- Experience with Web development as well including Angular 2, HTML5, and RESTful services are helpful
- Software engineering experience in object-oriented design and applying loosely coupled distributed design patterns to realize mid to large size applications

- Strong grasp and practical experience with automation and virtualization of at least one cloud platform (e.g. VMWare, OpenStack, AWS)
- Familiarity with deployment and management systems such as Puppet, Salt, Chef, Ansible, Packer, Terraform, etc.
- Expertise in building/maintaining/sustaining monitoring systems like: nagios, op5, etc.
